Text alerts

FarePounce Deal Alerts are automated texts from FarePounce for Premium members who ask for them. We text only for Pounces: rare, big fare drops from the member's home airports. Every text names FarePounce, the route and the price, with a short link to the deal.

How to sign up

Premium members turn texts on from their account page. They enter a US or Canada mobile number and tick a box, unticked by default, that reads:

“Yes, text me FarePounce deal alerts at this number. These are automated texts for rare, big fare drops from my airports, up to 3 a day and usually about 6 a month. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.”

We then text that number once asking the member to reply YES. Alerts start only after they do. Texts are never a condition of buying a membership.

How often

Message frequency varies with fares: usually about 6 a month, never more than 3a day, and only between 8am and 8pm in the member's time zone. Message and data rates may apply.

How to stop or get help

Reply STOP to any text to cancel. We send one confirmation and nothing after that. You can also turn texts off on your account page. Reply START to come back. Reply HELP for help, or email support@farepounce.com.

Your number

We use your number only to send FarePounce deal alerts. We never sell or share your phone number or your text opt-in with anyone for their marketing. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our privacy policy and terms.
